Google recently put a new element called "Site Name" at the top of each search result, next to your site's favicon. It is the same for all the pages of your website which appear in search results.
Currently, if your website address ends with ".simdif.com", your Site Name will be "SimDif". For now, the only reliable way to control the display of a Site Name in Google search results is to have a custom domain name such as "mywebsite.com". Google has stated that it will more fully support domain names ending in ".simdif.com" and similar in the future.
1. Open your homepage in the SimDif app, tap on the 'G' icon at the top, and fill in the new Site Name field.
2. Publish your site again so that SimDif can add the necessary code to your website for you.
Note: Google can take days or even weeks to update a Site Name in search results.
Your Site Name should be your brand name, organization name, your own name or your website name.
Note: Google will not normally display a Site Name longer than 5 words, or longer than 32 characters. The shorter the better!
