How to set up PayPal View Cart and Add to Cart buttons

PayPal's Shopping Cart uses two button types that work together: a "View Cart" button and one or more "Add to Cart" buttons.

Start with the View Cart button, because Add to Cart buttons cannot be set up until the View Cart button is in place.


Step 1: Set up your View Cart button

In the SimDif app, tap the View Cart button in your website header, then:

1. Go to your PayPal account on the Web and create a "Shopping Cart" button
2. Click "Build It", then click "View Cart"
3. Copy "Part 1" of the button code and paste it into the box in SimDif
4. Copy "Part 2" of the button code and paste it into the same box on the next line
5. Click "Check code" to confirm, then "Apply"


Step 2: Set up each Add to Cart button

Once your View Cart button is ready:

1. Tap "Add a New Block" on any page, select the 'E-commerce' tab, and choose one of the blocks
2. Tap on any Add to Cart button in your new block
3. In your PayPal account, create a "Shopping Cart" button for your product
4. Click "Build It", then click "Add to Cart"
5. Copy the button code and paste it into the box in SimDif
6. Click "Check code" and "Apply"

Repeat Step 2 for each product you want to sell.
