How the Optimization Assistant works

When enabled, the Optimization Assistant runs every time you publish. It checks your site for missing titles, metadata, and other key elements that help search engines and visitors.

It reviews only the blocks you created or modified yourself, letting you know if you've missed anything important.

The Optimization Assistant lives on the Publish screen

Tapping the "Publish" button in the bottom toolbar opens the Publish screen. This is where you make the final decision to put your changes online.

The Publish screen is also home to the Optimization Assistant.

How to enable the Optimization Assistant

1. Tap the "Publish" button to open the Publish screen
2. Tap the "Enable" toggle so that it's green

That's it!
You can turn it off at any time if you prefer to publish without guidance.

How to use the Optimization Assistant

Each of the Assistant's suggestions is clickable, and takes you right to where the missing information needs adding.

If you're in a hurry, just tap "Publish Now", and you're done. The suggestions will still be there for you next time.
