How to make your SimDif Pro Site multilingual
The Multilingual Sites feature allows you to add multiple languages to your website.
All Languages in a Multilingual Site:
• Are part of a single website
• Share one set of images, videos, mega buttons and all other non-text content
• Share one Theme
• Have a language selector in the header of the website so that visitors can choose their language
* Translated languages can have different Font sets from the original language
How to Add a Language to your Site
• Go to "Site Settings" > "Languages" > "Manage Translation"
• Choose "Multilingual Sites"
• Choose a language to add and click "Proceed"
• Complete payment for the language using the payment method of your choice
• Return to the SimDif app or Editor and click "Refresh"
• Click the "Start Translation" button in the Multilingual Sites screen which loads automatically
• Wait for the automatic translation to finish - it can be up to 1 minute or more

To review translations:
• Click on any text in a translated language, or
• Tap "Publish" and go through each item in the Checklist, or
• Click on the Checklist icon to the right of Publish and go through each item
Publishing:
Once you are happy with the translations, click the "Publish" button for each language.

• Go to "Site Settings" > "Languages" > "Manage Translation"
• Use the Language selector in your website header to switch from one language to another
Updating your website
If you edit any text in your original language, you can enable "Translate again" to automatically update the translations.
When to enable "Translate again":
• When you make significant changes to some text in your original language and want a fresh automatic translation to review and approve.
When NOT to enable "Translate again":
• When you plan to make only a small change to your original language that may not justify a new automatic translation and human review.
How to ensure high quality translation
It's important to start with a well written main language site. Following this, if you are not fluent in both languages yourself, working with a professional translator is the only way to guarantee good translation.
