Meta tags help search engines understand your website's content and display it correctly in search results. Three important meta tags you should always set up are: Title for Search Engines, Meta Description, and (if you have a custom domain name) Site Name.
Title for Search Engines
The Title for Search Engines is the title of each individual page of your website in search engine results. Make sure it clearly describes what your page is about, keeping it short and interesting to attract potential visitors.
• To set a Title for Search Engines, on each page of your site tap on the 'G' icon and complete the field.
Meta Description
The Meta Description should be a brief and inviting summary of the content of a page. It is often displayed in search engine results below the Title for Search Engines.
• To add a Meta Description, on each page of your site tap on the 'G' icon and complete the field.
Site Name
Site Name is a recently added element in Google Search results which is the same for every page of a website, and should be your brand, organization name, or website name.
For now, the only way to control the display of a Site Name is to have a custom domain name such as "mywebsite.com".
• When you have a custom domain name, set up your Site Name by opening your homepage in the SimDif app, tapping on the 'G' icon, and completing the Site Name field.
