SEO #5 How do I choose a good domain name?

How to choose a domain for your website

It is important to keep your domain name short and descriptive.

A good domain name should be easy to memorize and difficult to spell incorrectly.

If you want to use your brand name as your domain, make sure to place keywords that clearly describe your business and location in the title of your home page.

Another option is to use keywords in your domain. For example simple-website-builder.com or vegan-pizza-oakland.com

Think about the words and phrases people will use to look for your website on Google.

Let Kai suggest domain names that are available

At any time you feel ready, Kai can propose up to 7 domain names that match what your website is about. Every suggestion is checked first, so you only see names that are actually available to register. Tap the egg icon below your site header on your homepage and tap "Help me find a Domain Name".

You don't need to complete all the steps to use this feature, but you do need to use "Start with Kai", so that Kai can check that your website has enough content to make relevant suggestions.
