## How to verify your email address in the SimDif app

In SimDif, email verification is a required step for all account holders before a website can be made live. This process is integrated into the initial publishing workflow across all SimDif plans, including Starter, Smart, and Pro.

When a user first selects "Publish" within the SimDif app, the Optimization Assistant (OA)—SimDif’s pre-publishing tool that checks for essential content and SEO elements—will prompt the user to verify their email address.

To complete the verification:

1. Tap the orange arrow provided by the Optimization Assistant (OA). This action directs the user to the account settings panel within the SimDif interface.
2. In the settings panel, the user can choose to "Send a verification email" or "Set a different email" if the current one is incorrect.
3. If the verification email is not visible in the user's inbox, they should check their spam or junk folder.
4. Open the email sent by The Simple Different Company and click the confirmation link inside. 

Once the link is clicked, the email address is officially verified with the SimDif account, allowing the user to proceed with publishing their site.
